UI Polishing: Remove Watch/Unwatch Confirmation Popup

The confirmation popup for unwatching is slow and anti-user.



A post from 2010 claimed it was a technical limitation:

It's more the limitation of the underlying code. It would need bespoke handling for it if we wanted to change this, as the overlay is still required for watch case. (Obviously I'm not saying it's not possible, but our really nice overlay trigger framework isn't sufficient to do it automagically.)

Is that still the case or can we rid away with this popup so the unwatch button functions as a button.

Also the watch button can function as a drop down selection instead of a popup. Pop ups just disturb the natural flow of things.

It's definitely not currently a technical requirement. In fact, it can be done without even a click. I have an internal-use addon that allows users to optionally set a preference to auto-watch content if they spend more than a certain amount of time on that content.
