XF 2.3 Trying to upgrade from 2.2.17 to 2.3.4

I get this error messages that I dont understand. Can anyone shed some light?

Thank you for the quick reply. No it is a webbhotel so I guess php.ini is not in my command but I will tell the hotel.

I have some access. What value to set it to? This is the current setting

Hi okay thank you for the reply. We are a small community. Better to stay in the old version then. I do this in my spare time. I did some research before but did not find any of this. Bad research maybe but anyway. We were interested in the performance gains because that has been a problem for us.

Small or big, doesn't matter. It's still best to upgrade. I know it looks a bit overwhelming, but if you have some technical knowledge and some spare time, you should be able to do it within an hour or so.

Last time we made a major upgrade I had to contact the webhotel and they made som special settings for the upgrade to proceed. Everyting has to time with when I have time. Our support (thats included) is only open in normal working hours. The exact time I do my normal work

I have tried the most but the error is the same. I still think the webhotell have to change something like last time.

What php version should I run when doing the upgrade? I'm on 8.4 right now
