Timed Sticky Posts/Threads Feature

Hello everyone,

I would like to propose a new feature for the XenForo platform. Often, we have posts or threads that are relevant or important only for a specific period—such as events, limited time offers, or special announcements.

Proposed Feature Details:

• Time Specification: Allow users or administrators to set a specific duration (e.g., 24 hours, 3 days, 1 week, etc.) for how long a post or thread remains sticky.
• Automatic Unsticky: Once the specified time expires, the post will automatically be unstickied, ensuring the forum remains current and up-to-date.
• Announcements and Special Events: This feature will be particularly beneficial for temporary announcements, events, or news bulletins.
• Ease of Administration: It will make content management easier for administrators by automatically updating the status of posts based on their relevance.

Implementing this feature would provide a more dynamic, organized, and time-relevant management of forum content. I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback on this suggestion.
