Disagree here. Saves are much more frequent in XF 2.2 anyway because we trigger a save automatically after typing stops for a few seconds.

Flood checking is primarily to prevent repeated content generation thereby being able to “flood” areas of the forum very quickly.

Draft saving doesn’t fit that bill.
