XF 2.3 the template problem

I close the marked area in the image, but when I refresh the page, it returns to the open position again. What could cause this? could it be because I made changes to the message_macros template?

The switches are on the template mods list are all in one single form.

Maybe you have too many template mods and hit the max input vars limit of your server: https://www.php.net/manual/en/info.configuration.php#ini.max-input-vars

Easy solution: go to the template mod edit page and deactivate it there.

Yeah, a console error happens very likely when you hit your max input vars limit.

You should then be able to use the on/off switch for in the upper area of the list, but not at the end; at least that's the behavior on my site.

you mean you want to inrease the max input vars limit? You can do this in your php.ini - just google it; it depends on your setup how this may exactly work.
