You could edit the cta_featuredthreads_forum_list_title_meta template and add the code directly - that should then work.

Same problem here. Like your Thread Events add-on this add-on has a problem with Simple Forms add-on. Both interferring with each other because of custom buttons.

Oh my style looks awful with drop bars, wishing there was one alternative view. I'm using a raw html template so i can't check view permissions, doing the public ones.

Can't see any options to choose which Forum the new thread goes into?

That link is correct. Works fine for me. What version of XenForo are you using? Do you have any add-ons that might be conflicting with this?

"Pretty" or "Beautiful" is a matter of taste.

The advantage is that creating a Thread is just 1 Click for the user.

Seems to be clashing with another add-on. Can you try and disable other add-ons and work out which one it is clashing with?
