XF 2.2 Starting a new conversation with multiple recipients

As admin I can do this, but is it possible for members to have this option? If so, it doesn't appear to be working on my site and perhaps I need to adjust the settings? Thank you for your help.

Set the permissions for the Registered user group.

Excellent! Thanks Paul that worked. I had YES to start conversations. It seems strange to me that the setting needs to be NO. How does that work? I also had YES to upload attachments.

Set those back to yes.

The one I highlighted in blue at the bottom is what you need to change - maximum recipients.

I had previously had that set to 10. Was that just too many?

Thanks so much for your help Paul. I really appreciate it. I think I had it right in the first place, but what may have been happening is that members were typing in the recipients name using the prefix @ before they typed in the name. All good now. THANK YOU!!
