1. How much can the top header area be customized or removed? I'm looking for more of a sleek look and I want to remove most of the top area. Any good sleek themes?

2. for the category bars can you set a gradient to them? like this? I know its possible with css gradient but I'm not sure if it works with xenforo. Screenshot 2025-11-11 at 10.13.08 AM.webp

3. Can you add more smilies and meme animated gifs to the replies? I also want to add another icon area to add animated gifs, not from a link.

(edit) I see than memes are provided but can I edit the ones out that I don't want and add new ones?

4. Does anyone know if this is a theme?

5. Instead of round profile photos can they be set to a square shape instead?

6. Has anyone used wordpress with xenforo? If so did you embed xenforo into the wordpress page? as iframe?

Thanks for looking!

That is UIX by @ThemeHouse styles, well known theme developers, highly recommend them. You also can check @Pixel Exit styles as well. I am using both, and happy with both.

Yes you can, some styles has more options.

Yes you can as well.

Try pixel exit - lots of extras in settings for styling in there, including rounded profile photos and square profile photos - you can use an image as a background to headers for gradients (and much more). You can check out the style "demo board" from the drop down menus.

Man this is going to take months to get finished. I wish there was a wiki that shows you how to format each part.

I'm basically using the dev tools to identify each part, search it down in cp and then trial and error to fix it.

Is there a rectangular avatar option, or 'origin ratio'?
I don't know about custom styles, but for default stuff, look for the setting "Avatar border radius" in the avatar style properties.
Adjusting this value will turn avatars to different shapes based on the input value. A 0% setting results in a square avatar (for example).

You just change the settings for them to graduate the curve between round and square (via Pixel Exit style).

For example I changed mine to square with slightly rounded corners.

And have an image instead of a colour for the top of the header bar on the right - so the colour is graduated and with pattern/texture.

There are a lot of style settings in pixel exit styles and multiple things you can do - and the support is very good too.

My logo isn't a good example though :-) You can do a lot more/better with logo design!

Your forum is great.

I used to have a rescued hamster myself.
