XF 1.4 Show latest threads on home page

Is it possible to show the latest threads on the homepage instead of the main forum?

The homepage shows all the forums, I just want to show the latest threads.

Ah, you mean the forum index, like here? https://xenforo.com/community/

If so, that requires an add-on.
Widget Framework seems to be the main add-on which is used for that functionality.

I use widget framework for this purpose. My homepage is a widget page with a tabbed widget that contains the most recent threads and the most recent classifieds listings.

However, I don't want it show every latest post, I just want it to be the latest started threads.
