Should Paid Resource Threads Be Private or Public?

Question for you all, should threads for paid resources be private and only accessible to those who purchased the resource, or should they be public like the regular resource threads?

I'm debating this because public threads would be better for traffic and site indexing, but I'm not sure what's best overall. What do you think?
 
Comes to personal preference. If you’d like support to be included inside the sales thread and only privately to buyers, you know your answer.

Support will be in the resource thread, but it doesn't have to be private. If these private threads were public, they could gain traction, get indexed by Google, and drive more traffic to the site. Just was wondering if there are any downsides to doing this

It depends upon where it is you got it from and if their forum is full of trolls.
It should always be ticketed
