XF 2.1 Server performance wise, is it better to edit the templates directly instead of doing the template modification find/replace?

If I'm sure that part of the template won't affect any add-on execution?

Or multiple modifications on the same template doesn't have any significant impact on server load?

Performance wise a template modification is equally as fast as a direct template edit. I suggest always using template modification so that when you upgrade XenForo those template modification will reapply without problems, assuming the templates they modify have not been changed.

If they have, do you get notified like you do with template edits (need merging...)?
