Self-Hosted Mail App for WordPress - Advise Needed

Hi guys,

I am thinking about getting this plug-in for WordPress which allows you to send mail easily and also have others send mail on your behalf. >> http://codecanyon.net/item/mymail-email-newsletter-plugin-for-wordpress/3078294

I was wondering if anyone has seen anything like this that's free? I am also aware of Mail Poet which is popular but has a 2000 subscribers a limit:

IIRC Mailchimp / Mandrill do one that's free. If you go down the Mandrill route, it's got a 10,000 per month email limit for free.

If you can go without Wordpress you can use any php based mail sending app, then enter mandril's SMTP details into the outgoing mail settings.

We ended up going with Sendy.co - it's a paid php application that works with either SMTP or Amazon SES (which is dirt cheap!).

Thanks guys. I was looking for a WordPress plugin though. I can send via my own mail server.
