This might be close to what I need. I'm noticing something in the demo though: When I mouse over the subforums, the orange text in the New Profile Posts box on the right flashes a little bit, goes darker orange and then back to lighter orange. Is that intended? I'm using Chrome.

Sorry this took me a while to get back to. I made an animated .gif for you. I think the problem is that the CSS for some of the side-box elements (and maybe elsewhere) is shared with the CSS for the RSS icon, which changes different orange colors? It's in the nitpick category, either way :)

Actually, now that I look at it, some of the light blue text (Total: 4...) is also shifting color a bit. Maybe it's a Chrome thing.

It displays a small window in the header that displays your avatar, your number of Posts, Likes and Points.

A new Group and style properties have been created to enable or disable the UserBox system and/or Visitors Panel.

Installation:
- Upload the new file: styles/resurgent/resurgent/bg_userbox.png
- Import the xml files: style-Resurgent.xml
