I'm a recent adopter of XF, having migrated away from Invision due to their recent price hikes. However, there are some Invision features that my community have grown used to, that I would like to be able to replicate if possible.
I don't know whether changing settings, obtaining add-ons, or some combination of the two will get me there...
Specifically the home "node" in Invision is the "All Activity" page as shown below. It's much more granular than What XF seemingly offers out of the box.
One part is the feed at left, which includes both post previews and reactions in a visually disparate style.
The other component, which people are really wanting, is the block in the right sidebar that shows the N most recent posts, who posted the reply, when, and a brief preview, which can be seen on numerous different pages.
My apologies if these are easily changed in settings; I'm still getting the lay of the land, and much of the structure and terminology is very different from what I've been using for the last 20 years.
