XF 2.3 Removing sidebar for a specific user group

I use the right side bar to place ads. Users to pay a $30 donation per year get put in a user group for no ads. The edge disappeared, but the right side bar is still there. I kinda like it to remove the entire sidebar so they have more room for reading threads.

Is this possible or would it need to customize add on

How many styles do you use? How about making a copy and then remove the side bar and have it so the ad free group is the only group that uses that style?
Or, use a conditional to restrict by user group?
