Add-on Releasing a Open Source Forum App for xenForo

Hello everyone,

I’m not sure if this is the right place to pre-announce an open-source project built for XenForo, but we’re close to finishing a mobile app that works on both Android and iOS and supports push notifications. In essence, it’s similar to one of the (and perhaps only?) popular forum apps out there—except this one will be fully open source.

We’ve been testing it over the past few weeks and working with a handful of forum owners to gather feedback. Before we release the app to the App Store and open-source the project on GitHub, I’d like to invite anyone here to give it a try.

If you run a XenForo forum and are interested, we can provide you with a TestFlight version of the app to install, along with the add-on needed on your forum to enable access and push notifications.

what does it do?
 
It allows your members to download an app to interact with your forum. Sort of like a Facebook or Instagram app but for interacting with your forums. It also has some basic moderation features that will allow you to clean spam, flagging posts etc.

I hope it helps.
 
Will I be able to upload my own app to my play store and AppStore account preconfigured to only be usted on my forums ? Or is it a generic app with the ability to connect to my forum?
