XF 1.5 Prevent users creating new thread, allow Resource manager to do it for them?

Hi guys!

I have a section of the forum where Resource Manager creates a new thread whenever a user makes a resource.

Question is: is it possible to prevent users from creating new threads in that node, without impacting Resource Manager's thread creation?

You can do that via the standard node permissions - revoke the create new thread option for the Registered user group.

Cool, and that won't stop the Resource Manager, even though it creates the new thread as that user?

The RM will still be able to automatically post new threads related to resources.
