Hi,

As the title says, I really think site owners need to be empowered with the ability to decide which fields are linked and which are not.

Not all sites promote the use of real identities and many (in the medical profession for instance) actively discourage it.

I would like to see individual options to prevent avatar, website, location and any other data being pulled over when authenticating and registering with external providers.

Meanwhile, if anyone is interested, I have contracted @Waindigo to make this modification which he has my full permission to release for free here as a resource.
