Postbit Favorite Sports team

I noticed on the TMB forums they have an add on id like to add to my forums. I was wondering if an add on exists that you're able to allow users to select the icon for their favorite sports teams (NFL, NBA, MLB....etc) and add it to the user postbit.

You don't need an addon for that. Make a custom user selection field. Make an icon for each team name, upload it somewhere and have the display html point to it accordingly.

Sorry to bump such an old thread but how does one go about doing that?
