In the bbPress forum I imported a couple of weeks ago, it shows us there are 885 posts or threads awaiting moderation.
In my phpBB2 forum test import, it is showing users they have a couple hundred new conversations (aka PMs) in their inbox.
In both of these cases, I feel a simple database query should clear these out. Immediately after my import of phpBB2, I would like to know which fields I can update via a query to mark all of the incoming messages as read, and what value I should use.
The bbPress situation is similar--are there separate fields to change for moderated vs. soft-deleted, or is it the same...and what values?
I figure posting this might help others with future imports...
