MG 2.2 Possible to include dragging when cropping thumbnail for media items?

The XF 2.2 Banner upload has a "drag" function built in to allow a little customization in the position of the crop. Would it be possible to do the same for setting the thumbnail of media items so that users could highlight specific portions of the media?
