So it’s not acceptable for addon developers to not respond to questions/concerns in their addon threads, but it’s acceptable for XF staff to not respond I the forums because it’s not an official support channel? Maybe we respond in official support channels as well.

If you add a search term it ignores the member field and returns search results for all members. The same applies to an advance search. It seems to be related only to the version running here on the support forum.

It will be fixed before the next release, but since it only affects this site it’s not exactly a front-runner until then.

If it’s any consolation in the meantime it’s been frustrating for me too.

I’m not playing devil’s advocate, I’m telling you that other things have taken priority. It will be fixed when we have the bandwidth to do so, no sooner and no later.

Yep. Everyone wants their pet suggestions to be implemented and their bugs to be fixed yesterday, and we're trying in earnest to balance between them and prioritize the ones which have the most impact for the most people to the best of our ability. You can think we're doing so poorly if you want, but that doesn't change the reality.

I'm not interested in further back-and-forths. Rest assured this issue won't make it into 2.3.7.
