XF 2.2 "Please enter a valid location"

"Oops" error users are getting when trying to edit profile.

"Please enter a valid location"

One user said the location field wasn't even present.

Just migrated to XF from another platform and I can edit my own location no problem. Why are users getting this? thanks

Probably remove "require location" from user registration settings.

I've always required it no problem on my other XF.

What determines valid? A setting? And these users are getting it when visiting their edit profile page having locations filled in for years.

This was caused by the add-on that hides the location field and people had them filled in already. The fix, unhide for that group.
