phpMyAdmin question

When I use phpMyAdmin I access it through cPanel for the site. However, I see that I have two directories in /public_html where phpMyAdmin has been uploaded on the website where Xenforo is installed. If I don't access phpMyAdmin via those directories, only via cPanel, can I safely remove those directories without screwing up the database or the site?

Sorry, probably a noob question.

phpMyAdmin can basically be copied to a directory on the server and used without any installation required.

As long as you have one instance of it on the server, you should be fine.

You should be okay to delete the extra directories/files - just make a note of them/backup, so you can restore in the event of any issues.
