php script or query to grab one column in xf db and write to a different db?

I was wondering if anyone has, knows of, or can give me some guidance on how to grab a column from my xenforo installation's db and enter the rows for those that don't exist already into a column on another db that is sharing that instance of mysql with my xf database.
