Permissions Issue

I've created a news room in my forums. I'm trying to set the permissions so that registered members cannot create threads.

To do this I've set 'Post new thread:' to 'Revoke' in the parent category. Unfortunately, it seems to be stopping me from posting new threads too, even though I'm an administrator.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

What's your primary usergroup?

Ahhhh. It was set as registered. I had assumed that I was already set as an admin since I could access the admin panel.
