I've never seen this at all. And there have been no other reports of this until now. There's only one thing that could cause improper info and that's if the user is visiting your site using a proxy that identifies itself as a different OS/Browser than the user is actually using on their computer.

The only way I can double check the add-on (and correct it if needed) is if you give me the user agent string for the user(s) in question.

I can't even get this to work on the default xf style. Installed, set options (moderators), nothing shows for me.

Yes, @Recep Baltaş is correct. OS/Browser won't show until someone posts and it will show in that post. It won't show in old posts.

Ah ha... got it. Thanks. Now its working that I made a post to test it. Thanks. Thought I was going mad. Checked options, template mods, style properties... searched acp... was missing the going forward part.

Yeah, after altering the uasdata.ini , I get the warning on the admin panel with file with altered content. How nice eh?

That's to be expected when you modify an original source file for either an add-on or XenForo itself in XF2. The file you wanted to edit is in your data/osbrowser folder.

I know. What I'm trying to say is, instead of forwarding people to edit files, the add-on itself should have customization options which I've mentioned before...

Well that is up to the developer on what they want to add as options/changes to the addon.

The point from me is, the original file is in the add-on folder. The one actually used is in the data/osbrowser folder.

He edited the wrong file and if there's ever a need to restore the one in data/osbrowser with the original, he won't be able to.

No clue what that says, but if it's the warning about the file not being correct that would be right if it's the one you edited. I've said this twice already, the one you want to edit is in data/osbrowser. You're editing the original file that is copied to data/osbrowser during install.
