My understanding is that within threads (at least on 2.2) you don't see any evidence of the ignored users's posts unless you have followed a link that is directly anchored to the post, so a "latest" link in a thread for instance and the ignored user was the last poster. So say for example you visit a threadinstead of displaying a message that it is content from an ignored user.
/threads/example-p8.12345/page-8 you simply wouldn't see their posts on that page, but if you visit it /threads/example-p8.12345/post-98765 where post 98765 is a post by your ignored user then you will see a post entry including the user's avatar and it'll say the "You are ignoring content by this member. Show Ignored Content" message. Seems to have been like this since 1.5. I can get why that might be annoying to users who are trying to ignore someone however!Yesterday at 9:09 PM Ignored member. Off the top of my head I don't recall if there are any options to tweak the behaviour within stock XF, I don't recall any.We use essential cookies to make this site work, and optional cookies to enhance your experience.
