Other users 'like' thread - no notification?

If this is a bug/suggestion then can someone move the thread appropriately.

Basically, I feel when you "like" a post you should get notifications relating to that post, such as when someone else likes the post. I noticed someone else liked a post that I liked and I wasn't notified of it - bug or suggestion?

If the quote notification feature gets implemented it'd be further suitable to make anyone who liked the post get a notification when quoted (or a set of preferences for liking posts).

On a related note I believe you did get alerts for Likes, but it seems this is no longer the case.

I don't think it's necessary to be alerted that other people liked a post you liked. Seems to be a waste of resources that could be used on other things.

Yeah, it personally doesn't bother me I just thought I'd highlight it.

I think it would be a good feature but could lead to a big overhelm of alerts.
