I guess that's what the xenforo search box is for, theres no point adding it to the widget

Not sure if I am describing what I mean well enough.

My personal knowledge system has a graph view.

by default, it shows every note I have in the entire system.

but when I search for a term, the graph just shows matching items.

I understand your point, but searching for tags inside a widget isn’t very practical. Also, from a technical standpoint, the tags are rendered on a canvas, and once the canvas is drawn, its content can’t be modified or searched without redrawing everything. That limitation is why adding a search feature isn’t possible.

No its not, check the visuals i uploaded in the addon overview to understand how it works and looks like when installed.

If this new version is stable maybe we can add the search form to the Simple HTML widget when selected, at the top right corner. we will wait for more members suggestion to further improve the addon
