Not making this thread to talk about the subject, but to talk about the software running it. How are they doing this? It's pretty cool. Basically it shows people tweeting a certain phrase or word. I would love to make a xenforo page listing the tweeting of certain phrases related to my site.

Twitter provides (used to any way) a good API system where you could pull tweets by keywords. I'd imagine this does that, and add some really nice styling to it and a little of Ajax in the mix.

No. If you click on a box it sends you to the tweet it came from.

That seems real but if someone was creating fake tweets just to show up on that website that's pretty darn lame.

'No Homo' is a East Harlem, New York slang popularized by the rapper Cam'Ron. That site was posted on a rap forum I visit.

Have you heard of 'U Mad?' He popularized that term too.

If it's legit, it's a pretty smart idea and concept. Can be used in loads of things.

Clever and impressive script
Sad and disturbing number of people using all the different slurs, however.
If ever there's a mandatory human culling, they should start with all the people featured on that site.

That's not a terribly complicated site. On the back end. So to speak. No pun intended.

But it looks like they are using the streaming API, which is something you only get access to if Twitter deems your project worthy. The regular API is rate limited, which would prevent real-time updating like that.
