As designed New Posts Widget issue involving Prefixes

When viewing a forum listing, I am able to click on a "Prefix" to a thread and it displays all the threads that are using that Prefix.

However, when viewing the "New Post" widget listing, the Prefixes do not link and show the same listing

That is the designed behaviour.

Prefixes are only linked on specific pages.
