MG 2.2 Missing Thumbnails after Upgrade despite of re-indexing chache

After the Upgrade from XF 1.5.20 -> 2.2.1 / MG 1.1.7 -> 2.2 i miss many but not all media-thumbnails.

re-indexing/caching doesn't help i even tried with caching options (nginx) reduced to the minimum.







In the server-log i get this message regularly now, donno if it has anything to do with the problem. And even if i increase memory in PHP settings (server) it doesn't change.



Would be grateful for a solution.

Try increasing the memory_limit in PHP from 256M to 512M.

Thx @AndyB i tried already but it seems it doesn't matter how much memory i grant in php settings...
Seems it comes on any action like updating/installing addons or language-files.

But anyway, this might not be the reason for my problem with the thumbnails.
