When the index page route is media/, no meta description is loaded. However, when using the default forums/, the meta description configured in basic options is used.

Thank you for reporting this issue. This is the same issue as an existing confirmed report: the board description is only used as the meta description on the forum list pages, so when a different page (such as media) is set as the index page, no description is output. It is being tracked in that report.
