XF 2.1 Members -> User Points don't count.

For almost a year I have been monitoring the POINTS a user gets- In the forum navigationbar I click Members and then on the right in the column it says POINT's it has not changed for a year at any of the members. They are active and do a lot but points don't increase.

I wonder what triggers a point or do I have to enable it somewhere?

Some users have 113 points others have 2500 points but it has not changed at any time.

Out of the box, points are based on trophies.

You can earn trophies by carrying out different actions. This page shows a list of the trophies that are available.

so far so good yes.. but then it should work somehow, is there a way it can be disabled or enabled.. I can't find anywhere I may have disabled it.

Search for 'ladder'.

it is enabled and it is set to MESSAGES.

I assume it should be set to Trophies?

If I do that, will the reaction score still rise?

Enabling trophies doesn't affect reaction score.

there are lot's of active users, but the points are not moving anywhere, is there something else I can check?

Do they meet the trophy criteria and have the trophies been awarded?
