Batch update threads in the ACP will do that - admin.php?threads/batch-update.

It does. You have to first specify your search parameters and on the next screen after hitting search you have the option to move the threads.

Yes that’s what I mentioned in post #2. Go to batch update threads, choose the user in the Created by field. Then update to move the threads.
