Looking for an add-on where customers can leave their login data obscured.

Don't know the right name for it ATM but basically looking for an addon where customers can post their, when needed, website login data which can only been seen by admin/mods.

Most likely such an addon is available but my brain a bit slow today and can't come up with the right search term.

The simplest way to achieve that would be a dedicated forum using the 'View threads by others' permission.

Set it to No for the registered user group and Yes for the staff user group.

So if I understand correctly if someone posts a thread only that person can view the contents? (besides the admin/mods ofc)

Yes - using that permission, only the thread starter and those with the permission enabled can see the threads.
