Infomaniak (Geneva, Switzerland) has been offering a solution called “Jelastic Cloud” for some time now as an alternative to the traditional VPS model

It’s very cost-effective and can be scaled up or down at any time. However, a container must be booked for each individual solution, which in turn makes it seem quite expensive.
I think this would certainly be reasonable for a single forum, and depending on how the forum develops, it could be scaled up or down accordingly.
