Is there any way to use an avatar's full image or crop less of it?

reduce 50% to a smaller figure to make it more of a 'rounded square'

I already did that, no matter the size, an avatar always gets cropped when you upload one.

You can move the avatar inside the box to find the best position to crop.
The Crop itself can't be disabled. Its also resized to several versions.
