Is there an easy way to default sort Members by activity or post count

Is there an easy way to set the default sort order of the Members list page other than alphabetical?
I'd like to order by latest post/activity instead of alphabetical by default.

Jake, thanks for that edit - just what I wanted and worked perfectly. If I can follow that successfully anyone can.
