Is it just me or is Facebook Connect just not worth it anymore?

I'm going to assume it's just me, but one by one I'm allowing my Facebook Connections to expire. Every year it gets more difficult to pass their "inspections" and no matter what I do, I can't seem to satisfy their requirements. I'm pretty sure it's something on their end not working and it seems I have everything set as I should. I've been using the service for years (Facebook apps) to allow quick and easy signups for people with Facebook accounts.

I'm not looking to diagnose the issue(s) because I really don't care to maintain the connections anymore (some sites still work but others just won't). I'm simply curious if anyone else gave up as well...

It is indeed quite the burden to set it up, so I’ve decided not to use it. Half of what they’re asking doesn’t make sense for a forum community.

I think the last thing I got stuck on, a few months ago before I gave up, was on the privacy policy link. Their system just wouldn't accept my URL. Oh well. It was a hassle anyway.

I did briefly look at it for a forum about six months ago and just got mired in the setup it wasn't clear if I needed a legal entity (a business or similar) to use it or quite what, I'm sure it was much easier years ago. I gave up bothering in the end as it wasn't anything more than a "maybe that'd be nice to add" for the site in question.

ditched it along time ago when they first made it fort knox to try to get in.
99% of people either have a google Id or apple id. there's really no need to have anything else. I'd argue a dev community might want github. but that's about it.
