Interesting new pagination UI that combines pages with continuous scroll

HotUKDeals has updated their forum and added a pretty cool new hybrid continuous scroll and pagination system.

It's effectively continuous scroll, but you can still track where you are as the page number auto updates, and you can still jump to specific pages.

They then solved the issue of not being able to ever reach the footer with continuous scroll by adding a toggle for it in the pagination navigation at the bottom of the screen.

It works in categories and search results, they've not applied it to the threads themselves though, it works pretty well.

That's very nicely designed. I'm not a fan of continuous scrolling because it hides footer, but this solution is very well designed.

It breaks CTRL+F functionality. I personally hate that. I think a feature like this should be obliged to implement its own CTRL+F keybind.

Not sure I follow? Seems to work fine for me on Chrome to search the page for text.
