XF 2.1 Integrating Revive ad manager with XenForo advertisement system

I'm new to XenForo - it's installed, but I'm just starting to go through the configuration options. In the past, I ran vB 3.x and added template code to pull ads from OpenX/OpenAds which I was also hosting.

XenForo 2.1 has an advertising system built in, but it appears to take HTML code with the "XenForo template syntax" which I'm unfamiliar with presently. Is there anyone here that is hosting their own Revive ad server and has integrated Revive ad code into the XenForo advertising system? Could you share a sample of the code you use for the XF advertisement that incorporates a Revive ad zone?
