1) Increase your amount of content.
2) Increase the quality of content.
These are two of the main ways to boost your site rankings. With more and better content, more visitors will come naturally. While 'page views' may increase as a result, they’re not a reliable indicator of a site's true success. Artificially inflating pageviews by disabling Ajax or reducing the posts-per-page limit only manipulates display behavior and doesn’t enhance actual user engagement or search performance.
Disabling Ajax and reducing the number of posts per page to increase pageviews is counterproductive for improving your website in the eyes of both search engines and visitors. While disabling Ajax may increase pageviews, it comes with drawbacks. Either your server load will increase as visitors continually reload entire pages to view the latest content, or visitors may see outdated content compared to what they would see with Ajax enabled—both of which negatively impact your site and its visitors. This can also affect your site rankings, as 'average time on page' is likely to decrease with Ajax disabled and fewer posts per page. Each time a page is reloaded to access new content, the time on that page resets, reducing your overall average time on page. In contrast, Ajax keeps the content up-to-date without full page reloads, contributing to a higher average time on page, as does displaying more posts per page.
The number of page views or the quantity of pages on your site won’t directly affect your rankings. Instead, your rankings are influenced by the amount and quality of your content. This is what will bring new visitors and keep them coming back. This is where you should focus your efforts to improve your site.
