XF 2.1 import with cmd.php is 2x slower then frontend

Hi there,

I imported an PHPBB in XF1.5, upgrade this version to 2.0 and import this dump into the final installation of 2.1.

The import of posts without cli (phpbb to xf1) took about 20min while the import from xf2 to xf2.1 and cli took about 45min.

Is it normal or should I change some settings?

You can't compare an XF1 importer to an XF2 importer.

They are completely different code bases.

Why did you import from XF2.0 to XF2.1 instead of upgrading?

Because I doesn't want to work on a running forum.

So I have a local installation of xenforo, change the settings and style and when i'm finish I reset the database (only the specific tables) and import a fresh dump.

Otherwise I have to import to xf1, upgrade to xf2 and then I have to work on a running system?
