XF 2.3 How to keep XenForo node icons static?

Hey, does anyone know how I can stop the XenForo node icons from flashing? I’d prefer them to stay static instead of changing. Any tips?

As a side, I went to the community in your footer to check how this would look in the real world (I'm always up for enhancing the user experience) - and your community is very slow loading for me. Upwards of 15+ seconds.

Sure, could reverse that, but actually, one color for icons has been the best solution as I prefer it aesthetically and it is now unrelated to any state or function.
