How to auto-remove a user from UserGroup A when auto-promoted to B.

Situation: Suppose that there's a new-registered usergroup and a "formal member" usergroup. There's already a user promotion which automatically add condition-met users to the latter usergroup. However, this doesn't automatically remove them from their previous usergroup, hence this thread for help.

Use the User is NOT a member of any of the selected user groups criterion on the new-registered group for the formal member user group.

Thanks. Should I uncheck the "User is a member of any of the selected user groups" ?
(The 11 is the new-registered and the 12 is the formal member.)
