First up, apologies if I have posted in the wrong place. I regularly read the messages here but have never posted my own thread.
I have been searching for (presumably) an add-on that would allow me to create a new node that lists only one type of thread prefix, gathered from nodes all over my site. The reasoning behind this is for visibility of certain threads. We have a node for "questions" and multiple nodes for a "particular area", so the thread could be in both nodes, but can't live in two nodes at the same time. If we directed users to post their questions in the relevant node to their topic with the "question" prefix, then threads from multiple nodes would show up in one spot, which would aid discovery and be a more elegant solution.
I liken it so a smart email folder that shows messages that match a certain criteria. The messages don't live in that folder, but can live in many folders. From what I have seen, there are add-ons that allow for selecting prefixes inside a node, but I would like to see prefixes from other nodes gathered in one central spot. I know I can technically do this by doing an advanced search and selecting the prefix at the time, but was hoping there would be an easier way of displaying all these threads.
