Add this to Extra.less and modify the value to suit you.

thanks for helping but what i meant was how are you able to display subforum on a front page ... check my forum on https://www.codeslims.com/forums/get-paid-programs.15/ it displays sub-forum just on the other page

This is done in Style Properties > Node/forum list > Sub-forum display style > list below node
