As it stands, single node. However, you can associate threads from any forum post-creation.

uhmm understood. it will be possibile in next versions?

Example for a sport forum:
International Events => Thread in the International Node
National Events => Thread in the National Node
Regional Events => thread in the Regional Node

for example categories (and sub-categories) of events with each one a different forum node?

This looks to be amazing to be honest! I currently use a very good events calendar, but this will be a completely huge step up from what we use right now.
Will check the resources to find the release..

I've just double checked this and noticed that on a mobile, the text and events listed on the calendar are not too clever responsiveness wise..
Is this something that will be worked upon/fixed?
Also I agree with assigning to particular nodes for some categories. Will this be considered?
